1. Lacks Try On Feature: – Unlike other online stores that sell glasses or sunglasses, this company does not have any features that let you try on glasses, whether via virtual means or in person. Other companies offer virtual try ons that let customers either upload their photos or use the webcam of their computers in order to see their image “wearing” the chosen glasses. Other companies, on the other hand, offer home try on programs where they will ship sample glasses to a customer's doorstep so they can see how the pairs fit them in the flesh. Having glasses that perfectly fit its owner's face is as important as choosing the perfect design that complements your personality, so it is a shame that Solstice Sunglasses does not offer any means of trying on sunglasses.
2. Cannot Change Order Online: – One of the things that might turn off some people, especially if they fail to read the FAQ, is the fact that once you place an order, you can't undo it online. In order for you to change it, you need to give them a call via phone. They will then cancel your order so you can replace it, provided that the item has not been processed yet. The problem with this process is the fact that calling to cancel an order might take longer than if the option to cancel right on the website were present. Imagine if you called but, for some reason, their line was busy, which resulted in your order being processed and, therefore, considered ineligible for replacement. Cancellations would take much less time had they included the option to do so on the order page itself.
