Golden Tote founders Sarah Becker and Sarah Sweeney started out in 2003 with their own clothing line called Puella, which means girl in Latin. During one of the events for Puella, grab bags were filled with 10 pieces and offered at a considerable discount. International Shipping - Unlike many subscriptions that only ship to the US and Canada, Golden Tote accepts orders from different parts of the world. The service also has a flat shipping rate, so you don't have to worry about shelling out extra fees for bulkier packages.
Additional Items at a Discount - Golden Tote also runs an online boutique shop. If you fancy a certain top in their collection and would like to buy and add it on top of your recurring package, you can purchase it at a reduced price.
Library of Past Totes - Since some items sent to you will be a total surprise, Golden Tote keeps an archive of past totes they've put together; to give you a rough idea of what could be included in their future. Golden Tote’s process is simple and can be broken down into five steps. First, you have to choose a package: The $49 tote allow for one piece of clothing of your choice, with the second item as a surprise. The $99 tote gives you four pieces of total mystery items, which Golden Tote will pick out for you based on your profile. Meanwhile, the $149 tote gives you five to six pieces in total, and you get to decide on two items included in the package.
