Pros

Very Familiar Interface – If you have used MS Office (I assume you haven’t been living under a rock for the last decade or so.) then using WebNode will be very easy for you. They utilize the same tool bar found on the top of MS Office applications so you can easily find what you are looking for and add the content onto your web page. Dragging and dropping elements from the MS Office-like tool bar helps to familiarize yourself with the program and not overwhelm you with all the features all at once.
Automatic Mobile Version – One of the best features of WebNode is the automization of creating a mobile version of your website as your create the desktop version. This is good because more people access the internet through their mobile phones or devices and having a website that can run well on mobile devices will give users a better experience. Having a mobile version is usually found on the paid versions of other web builders so having one on the free version of WebNode is a big plus.
Multiple Language Platforms – WebNode is offered in 13 different languages. This is very unique since most major web builders do not come with this much variety. This allows more global users access to WebNode and allows businesses to custom make websites depending on the market or location they want to target significantly increasing the customer base and helping customers feel more at home with your website because it is in their native language.

Cons

Poor Support – Rarely do we see any noteworthy customer support options on programs such as these and WebNode’s isn’t anything spectacular. They offer the same basic customer support as any other with basic forum and email support. Searching through forums is very tedious and often times can lead to more questions than answers while email support can take forever to get a reply. Not having live chat or even phone support removes the 1-on-1 interaction that most people want from customer support.
Limited Templates – Templates can be a very big help when making a web site since not everyone is as creative or tech savvy to create a good web page. That is why WebNode’s templates for us are a big letdown. They do offer a good number of premade templates which are categorized and designed for the specific type of website you want to build, but the designs are rather outdated and bland. This can be partially attributed to the 10 basic fonts you are limited to when editing your website, nowadays web designers are no longer limited to the 10 basic fonts which allows more life and customization to the websites.
Paid Version Limited features – The paid versions of WebNode are in the price range of the lower costing web builders but they do offer less than some of the competition. The Profi Version of WebNode costing $24.95 only offers 4000MB of Storage for example. If you only plan to make an English website then maybe spending on WebNode may not be such a good idea as you can get more features for the same amount or a little more with other web builders.

Enter your website name, email address and create a password to sign up for WebNode. After which you need to complete 3 steps:

Step 1: Select a website type (either: personal, business or shopping) then enter the name, slogan and business category.
Step 2: Select a website template from their list.
Step 3: Finish the registration and select what pages you want to appear for your website. (ie. Contact Us, News, Blog, FAQ, etc ).

Following this, you will be shown a welcome message and you can start to edit whatever elements and features you want on your website.

WebNode’s comprehensive features help you build a fully functioning website on your own. It also offers a very quick setup speed and easy to use interface. WebNode is mobile ready and SEO optimized with many widgets and analytic tools to use. Not to mention offered in 13 different languages. WebNode is not a bad choice if you want to get your business on the web, unless you are an obsessive compulsive design freak that wants everything just the way you envision it. WebNode’s templates make it hard to really get that complete customized site without getting into the coding, which is why you decided to use a web builder in the first place. All in all, though WebNode is not highly recommended as there are better options for spending your money, they are a good way to get you started on building your own website. Try the free version and check it out for yourself.
