Important Buyer Information
DeviantArt has been a good artwork submission community since it was launched in 2000. DeviantArt is a great site and can work as a valuable resource for art critiques and lovers. This site features a vast amount of artworks that are related to various skill levels; from amateur to professionals.
There are also some professionals from Disney and Pixar who post their sketches and personal work on this site. But since this is a free community sites, many jargons are also found on this site like obscene images, violence, and nudity. Many users of this site complained of having many fake accounts and users who generally want to exploit its real users.
So if you have a teenager child who wants to make an account on this site, then make sure he is not visiting any irrelevant links and accounts. As with every unmonitored forum site, some badmouth jerks post hateful and inappropriate contents on this site. Many heated debates also happens time to time on this site discussing whether the admin should allow porn on the site and masquerading as art.

DA’s community is very large, diverse, admirable and usually very friendly. The DA management though simply don’t care about functionality and support. Printing functionality has always been mediocre, and is worse after the WIX takeover. Back-end processing, especially credit-card-processing, is always slow, error-prone, and often broken. More frustratingly, the customer support is offshore with not enough Englsh. DA was much better in earlier years before WIX bought it. Its clear their management is out-to-lunch re DA.
In that case, would you suggest DeviantArt to any new users, or anyone in general? And can you tell any good website for showcasing one’s art and a good network for artists? Please let me know as I’m really confused about this and I want to showcase my art on some trusted and good social network platforms.
I don’t see anything user friendly about DeviantArt. It’s a horrible bullying site.
In my own experience, DeviantArt.com has been a great source of knowledge, especially when it comes to art. Over the years, this website has helped me strengthen the flaws in my own artwork, through looking at others, and I’m grateful such a site exists.
