Pricing and Features

SliQ invoicing offers 2 kinds of packages- SliQ Invoicing Lite and SliQ Invoicing Plus V5. SliQ Invoicing Lite costs $35 ($52.50 for the additional CD) and includes selection of predefined invoice templates, invoice, quotations, customer statements, and credit notes creation, sending of documents via email, document PDF creation, project database, discount database, and multiple invoice handling.

On the other hand, SliQ Invoicing Plus V5 costs $65 ($82.50 for the additional CD) and contains all of the features of the basic plan plus a ton of other services. You can create purchase orders, store supplier details, monitor stock control, add a shipping service at the end of each invoice, add PayPal buttons, customize invoice number formats, import data from CSV files, and print delivery notes. You will also be able to create recurring invoices and automate periodic billing, modify existing templates, give the option to show clients their payment history, send email using SMTP, send group email, export customer, product, and sales reports to Excel, configure reports, enter multiple addresses and contacts for each customer, include sales receipts, and assign payments to multiple invoices.

Ease of Use

The total download of the SliQ Invoicing Plus V5 is more or less 18 MB, which should take only a few seconds on a reliable internet connection with decent network speed. You will then be prompted to accept their end user license agreement to start installing the program. Upon opening the software, you will be prompted to setup your company and enter the corresponding details. You will then be asked for some invoicing and documentation details. Lastly, you can choose the currency that will be reflected in your invoices. You can now create a new invoice. Aside from the standard details like invoice number, terms, order number, item, description, and the like, there are also tabs for carriage/ delivery charges, personalized customer message, notes, delivery notes, and attachments. All in all, the startup process may be a bit dragging, but it gets more flawless when you reach invoice creation.

SliQ invoicing has a fairly detailed support page for any queries on their software features. You can also reach their customer support team via snail mail and email. Unfortunately, they do not have live chat support or toll free hotline, so you would have to settle for paper or electronic correspondence.
